TRIPLE HORN - ATK2022
A most challenging undertaking and one that has pushed both our skills and ingenuity to new heights. Our NEWLY redesigned Eb triple is light in weight and has many options for customization to each Hornist. This triple has an extraordinary long leadpipe and does NOT need a ridiculous cylindrical slide to bring it down to Eb. Longer branches give it a warmer sound and when played correctly the Eb descant will sound like a Bb horn but with the EASE of a descant. It is a BIG Bold American sounding horn that is free-blowing with rich overtones and projection. I would settle for nothing less. After my development of our Geyer AG2K, AG3K, and the Kruspe AK1930 and making the extensive steel tooling and molds for each, along with expanding our valve making department and bell making department, I thought it prudent to have new ideas and thinking in the development and engineering of this TRIPLE HORN.
Our model is entirely unique and does not copy any existing models in the world. Indeed it is the only AMERICAN TRIPLE made in the United States that is totally created in our Burbank, California workshop without using any German parts (can you imagine that?!). Why go this route? It gives us total autonomy of design and tapers which is important in making design progress and not having to wait for parts shipped from overseas.

Many weight-saving technologies have been used in the making of this horn, making the final weight at 5.6 lbs. (Average double horns weigh 5.8 lbs.) This original design features a long leadpipe, centrally located alto horn change valve for smoother tapers, uni-directional airflow through the valve section on all sides of the horn, independent tuning, dual-bore system, open-wrapped branches, weight-saving crook slides, and reversible levers.
